Designing the layout of a perfect web site is only a portion of the process of creating an effective online presence. We strive to help the customer get the most out of the Internet.
For this reason, we follow a design plan that not only encompasses the physical format of the site, but also includes the effectiveness of content included in the site.
1. Work Order Issuance
After both parties (Hosthaven and client) agree to work on the project we require that the client issues a work order by paying 70% of the agreed price so that we can continue on collecting the final requirements for the project.
2. Requirements Collection
After the cheque, we will continue on finalizing the requirement analysis for the client. This involves us meeting with our client or client's representative once or twice if required and developing a client requirements document for preparing an overall sitemap and workflow of the website.
3. Proposed Sitemap
We come up with a final workflow of the project. It can include a sitemap, modular break-up and other related documents for client’s reviewing and approval. If the client approves this proposed system, we can modify and make amendments/corrections based on client's feedback in these documents.
4. Concept & Visualisation
Upon approval of the sitemap, our designers will start working on designing a layout for the website. This process involves close coordination with the client as our designers work to extract the right visual of how the clients perceive their website. The output is a static image of the website for the client to review. We provide usually 1 to 2 options of the layouts.
5. Web Interface & Static HTML Generation
The layout after approval is converted into static HTML based web page viewable in a web browser with style sheets and other necessities integrated. The client is again asked to approve before going ahead with the actual dynamic code integration.
6. Dynamic Code Integration
The modules are programmed using a programming language (PHP, Java, JQuery, etc). Static Pages developed by designers are integrated with dynamic code to prepare the final draft of the website. The first release is delivered for testing to ensure all links are functional and not broken.
7. Deployment/Test Run
The final build is deployed on a hosting location for client’s review. A test run is observed for a couple of days. Any errors found are fixed in this duration.
8. Delivery/Signing Off
The final product is signed off by the client. The client is required to pay the remaining amount before the final delivery.
